Greek Week Was a Success!Posted on April 4, 2012
(Click to view more photos from Greek Week 2012!)
Each year the Southeast Greek community comes together in order to participate in Greek Week through community service and competitions. This year featured a Greek-a-palooza carnival, Canstruction event, Flash Mob mystery event, and ended with Greek Sing. Our chapter was partnered with Sigma Chi and Omega Psi Phi this year for the overall theme of “Red, White, and Greek Week” and an individual theme of “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”. This year was a hit when our chapter won:
- 1st Place – Canstruction
- Most Spirited Sorority – Mystery Event
- Best Incorporation of SEMO – Greek Sing
- 3rd Place – Flash Mob
- Best Dance – Greek Sing
- 3rd Place Overall – Greek Sing
- Gold Award Recipient – Greek Week
- Overall Most Spirited Sorority – Greek Week
SotW: Ashley CraigPosted on February 8, 2012
Congratulations to our Sister of the Week, Ashley Craig! Ashley joined our chapter at the end of the Fall 2011 semester, and despite still being a new member, she has been active and eager to take up responsibilities. For our Spring open recruitment, she convinced her grandma to make name tags for the entire week for our chapter. Her enthusiasm is something to be admired by new and active members alike.
Great job, Ashley!
